At HAND, we proudly use PYRATEX® fabrics.

PYRATEX® was born in 2014 with the mission to replace synthetic textiles with natural and more responsible options. Their sustainable fabrics are engineered to retain the fiber's natural properties, bringing functional qualities to the final garments.

PYRATEX® fabrics are good for the planet and good for our bodies. They supply them to brands like us through collaborations.

POWERED BY NATURE

PYRATEX® fabrics are made either from vegetal, upcycled or biodegradable fibers. The active components in them are not artificially added nor injected. Instead, they come from the plant itself, and maintained to achieve the fabric's functionality. They have no expiration date and they don't wash away.

THINKING GLOBAL, ACTING LOCAL

PYRATEX® factories are in Spain, Italy, Portugal and now Mexico. This allows them to better control their traceability, emissions, waste and resources, as well as establish partnerships that ensure the highest quality.

They focus on developing premium, durable textiles, that will last longer and have a positive impact.

RESPONSIBILITY AT CORE

PYRATEX® is continuously advancing towards regenerative materials. Environmental sustainability and social fairness are embedded within their production chain.

PYRATEX® believes that actions speak louder than words, which is why they work with a number of certifications in their factories, processes and fibers, including GOTS, OEKO TEX, Bluesign, FCS or PEFC. Their partnership with BCOME allows them to develop PYRATEX® impact passports for each of their textiles.
